Handsome set of four Venetian armchairs or lounge chairs hand-crafted in Italy in the rococo taste. Also known as pretzel chairs because of the interlocking twisted back splat. The whimsical chairs feature a generous seat with a cane inset and wide arms measuring 24.5 inches high. The walnut has a desirable aged, faded patina on the finish and the cane is all intact. The seats measure 15.5 inches high without the newly upholstered seat pads with a conforming shape. The seats are approximately 18 inches with pads.
