DETAILS This magnificent, botticino marble, antique fireplace features a deep cornice over a richly carved frieze with scrolling foliage flanking a shield. A secondary cornice is supported by corbels surmounting jambs with shallow pilasters with beaded detail; the beading echoed in the surround of the firebox. It is a substantial piece that will be wonderful on a large wall.
