Antique Bohemian Frosted Amber Glass Thumbprint Flower Vase Gold Rim

Presented is an antique Bohemian cut glass small vase or glass. This piece dates to the mid to late 1800s. The glass is amber cut to clear and frosted, with amber left in the oval 'thumbprints' around the sides and intricate cut and frosted decoration surrounding the ovals. Each oval has a small scene, woodland animals, forest, buildings, birds, etc. The rim of the glass is finely gilt, while the base is thick and heavy with a wide fluted design. This piece is in great condition. The gilding is in great shape. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. This piece stands about 5 1/4 inches tall and measures about 2 3/4 inches wide. -jm
