Lovely Antique Bohemian Ruby Overlay Clear Glass Footed Vase Ivy Design

Presented is a lovely antique Bohemian ruby and clear glass vase, dating to the mid to late 1800s. The vase is red glass overlaying clear, with a finely cut and frosted design of ivy leaves and vines around the midpoint. The vase has a nice scalloped rim and stands on a low round foot.  This piece is in great overall condition. There is something on the edge of the foot rim which seems original to the making of the piece, possibly a bubble in the glass that burst during/after the making process? Whatever the case, it is quite hard to notice. The red has some minor abrasion here and there, please let the photos guide your judgment. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. This piece stands about 5 3/4 inches tall and measures about 3 3/8 inches wide. -jm
