Stunning Antique Bohemian Cobalt Blue Cut to Clear Goblet Vase Diamond Design

Presented is a stunning antique blue cut to clear goblet or small vase. This piece dates to the mid to late 1800s and is likely of Bohemian make. The glass features a lattice or diamond type design, cut to show the clear glass underneath the rich cobalt blue. The piece is very well made and of a nice heavy weight. The vase is in great condition. There is a ground down chip to the rim, which is hard to notice. There is an irregularity to the edge of the foot, visible at about the 5 o'clock position in the third photo. This is original to the making of the piece. There is something that looks like an inconsistency in the blue color around the rim, but this can't be felt on either side of the rim so it seems to be interior and original to the making. The underside has some shelf wear. There are no cracks, no breaks, and no repairs. This piece stands about 5 1/2 inches tall and measures about 3 5/8 inches in diameter at the mouth. -jm
