Ampeleia 'Unlitro' Rosso 1L Maremma Toscana 2023 (Tuscany, Italy)

This wine is a result of a really cool project that includes Trentino winemaker Elizabetta Foradori and uses grapes from the Maremma region in Tuscany.  Outside of her Everyday Wines fanbase, Elisabetta is well known for revitalizing the Teroldego grape and is regarded as one of Italy's most important winemakers as well as a leader and pioneer in the natural wine movement. This delicious organic and biodynamic red blend is 40% Alicante Nero (aka Grenache), 25% Mourvedre, 15% Carignano, 15% Sangiovese, and 5% Alicante Bouschet.  Dark red juicy flavors abound with some savoriness perfectly meant to complement fall meals, pizza night, or perfect on its own.  The liter bottle makes it a great choice to bring or have on hand for larger gatherings.Food Ideas: Lamb kofta, pan seared mushrooms over polenta, scallion pancakes and chili crisp, sausage and kale soup ABV: 12%
