Castillo de Eneriz 'Colección' Crianza 2018 (Navarra, Spain)

Castillo de Eneriz is a range of wines from Bodegas Manzanos, a sixth generation winery founded in 1890. Located in the small town of Azagras, which lies on the border of Navarra and Rioja, the winery is perfectly positioned to produce exceptional wines from both regions.  Here we have a blend from Navarra consisting of 50% Garnacha, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 10% Merlot, 10% Tempranillo. On the palate we get notes of dark berries, woody herbs, cocoa, and a touch of spice and tobacco. 18 months aging in oak barrels give this wine a rich complexity and subtle notes of toasted oak and vanilla, all punctuated by long, smooth finish.
