Domaine Gregoire Hoppenot 'Clos de l'Amandier' Fleurie 2022 (Beaujolais, France)

Winemaker Gregoire Hoppenot is a born and raised Beaujolais native, and with quite a pedigree of employment under esteemed wine houses like Chapoutier’s Maison Trenel and Pierre Chermette, we’d say this guy knows what he’s doing. This Gamay is Gregoire’s flagship wine, sourcing his fruit from soon-to-be Premier Cru vines. Very classically Fleurie in style, this wine is delicate without lacking depth. Bright red fruits and rose petals dance on the nose and palate, while fine tannins offer a subtle earthiness and a well-balanced acidity provides a lean, elegant structure.
