La Collina di Dioniso Fabio Oberto Arneis Roero 2021 (Piedmont, Italy)

La Collina di Dioniso is a project started by Fabio Oberto in 2016 after working with his father for 22 years, which puts the winery in contact with small, local farmers from whom they source their fruit. This has enabled the winery to work with more varietals and ensures that they can continue to make incredibly well made, high value wines. This 100% Arneis has a lovely medium to full body, with aromas of stone fruit, honey, and subtle white flowers on the nose. The palate is dry, savory, and a bit nutty, with notes of peach and fresh herbs and just enough acidity to balance its body and fruit.
