Pierre-Marie Chermette 'Les Griottes' Beaujolais-Nouveau 2024 (Beaujolais, France)

Nouveau is a fleeting, playful treat that we celebrate every year. Made from the free-run juice of (organically-farmed in this case) Gamay grapes, it’s an ode to Harvest. While it’s by no means all that Beaujolais has to offer (please ask us about Beaujolais Crus), it is “particularly suited to enjoyable times with friends.”  It also happens to be an excellent pair to Thanksgiving fare, and usually arrives just in time. Juicy red fruits, with a touch of structure and minerality from Vissoux’s granitic soil, make this an easy-going glug-able red with a slightly serious side.
