By Stephen King. “What if you could prevent the assassination of JFK?” Jake Epping, a portal back to 1958, and an alternate timeline of one of the most famous murders in history, this later became a miniseries starring James Franco. I’ll spare you the commentary on whether THAT’S a true-crime qualifier, but THIS copy of the novel is the large-print edition, so it’s a beast — and the jacket is not in GREAT shape, but it’s done its job protecting the boards. Sits straight, and bright and clean inside; a great reading copy, if you can lift it.
