Denver Murders

Edited by Marie F. Rodell (the series) and Lee Casey (this volume); Vol. iII in the Regional Murder Series (yes, "really"). Cases include Gertrude Gibson Patterson, Pearl O'Loughlin, the Brown hotel case, and others -- and the bios of each chapter's author are a window into a different time. So is the book itself; this hardcover 1946 first printing, has a few pencil marks to the flyleaf, but is overall in handsome shape -- jacket somewhat worn but nicely wrapped, only mild page toning. Some fading to the spine, but the front is bright and neat. A better kept copy than most in the series -- and these seldom pass through here, so give this one a look.
