I don't know how many people know about Eliot Ness's pursuit -- vain, alas -- of the Mad Butcher of Kingsbury Run; this book may not be the best place to start, per PW, which seems to think it has some structural problems. Hell of a case, though, if you've got a strong stomach, and this hardcover is straight from the warehouse.
