If I stopped jumping from a task into another task, working, working, working until I quite literally fell asleep from exhaustion, then I would have to be present in my life and my reality, and that was something I didn't think I could survive. ⁠And now? ⁠Life passes in these kinds of beautiful stretches. There is work, certainly, but there is so much more space and capacity for the moment, for the lingering, for time. A raindrop on a petal in the garden, knowing there will be blossoms and leaves tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow.
