Palestinian women are famous for their traditional embroidery work called tatreez. These make up pouches or accessory bags feature fun designs in beautiful colors so that you can keep a piece of Palestine close to you. This is handcrafted by Manjel ma Qoud, a women's embroidery group we formed in January of 2024 in response to the increasing pressure Palestinian women are under due to the ongoing and increasing Israeli closures and suffocation of the Palestinian economy. These designs are only available through Handmade Palestine and through your purchase, we are supporting 10 women and their families. *please note these designs may vary in the color layout from pouch to pouch as they are stitched by many different women.
