The thobe is decorated in traditional cross-stitch and sewn onto a pewter pillow cover. Embroidery on one side. This is handcrafted by Manjel Ma'qoud, a women's embroidery group we formed in January of 2024 in response to the increasing pressure Palestinian women are under due to the ongoing and increasing Israeli closures and suffocation of the Palestinian economy.
