Antique Harvest Fields Poetry Book Hog Scraper Candlestick Autumn Gathering

This wonderful and quaint gathering is sure to please both you and your homestead sprinkled with fresh autumn charm. An old "Harvest Fields" poetry book dated 1870 (possibly earlier), created inspiration for an old hog scraper that was in need of a "face~lift". The little pocket of fall posies also accompanies this unusual gathering by lending a keen accent to the book. This poetry book, printed in Germany, is in very good condition considering it's age and has beautiful illustrations that coincide with the short poems written throughout the book as referenced in the above images. There are two pages shown in images (18 and 19) where there is a small piece of the drawing missing in about the same location on each page. Image 9 reflects a direct split on the inside middle portion of the book however, the outside binding is secure as shown in image 5.
