The SDPW Deflector Screw by Simpson Strong-Tie is a premium structural screw designed to provide a strong connection from non-load-bearing walls to trusses and joists. This screw is lateral load tested to meet building code requirements. The included offset driver bits and an additional driver extension help improve the installation process by making it quicker, easier, and more cost-effective. The SDPW screw features an interior-grade E-Coating for dry service applications and a polymer sleeve that allows sliding without squeaks during deflection.
