1 Day Basket Weaving | April 5, 2025

This is a 1 session in-person workshop. DATES/TIMES Saturday, April 5, 2025; 11am - 5pm COST $175 (includes all materials) LEVEL Open to beginners and those who have made baskets before who need a refresher or want to learn new techniques. MATERIALS (included) All materials included!  DETAILS Learn the basics of making baskets using the twining technique and round reed! This workshop is open to beginners and those with basics who may need a refresher or are looking to refine their skills. Students will learn how to make a base, curve up the sides and finish with a decorative rim!  The first steps in this basket workshop start with a demonstration of how to establish the basket base from the beginning. Students will follow and be guided along step by step while creating their basket base. The baskets are made from round reed employing over/under and twining technique. Ample hands on attention will be given to each student during the weaving process.
