Textile Workshop in Peru - October 2023

Join Fiber Circle Studio for a custom textile retreat in the Sacred Valley of Peru! October 22nd - 28th, 2023 EAT - SPIN - DYE - WEAVE  - EXPLORE We'll be working side-by-side with Andean artisans, dyeing wool yarn completely sourced from the region, spinning and plying on a drop spindle, and creating your own back strap wall hanging!  You'll get to take home 3 large skeins of naturally dyed yarn, your own handspun, and your finished woven backstrap project.  We'll have the opportunity to shop incredible, handmade items from the artisans we're working with. In addition to the textiles themselves, we'll be joining the community for an Alpaca Ceremony in the high Andes!  The hotel we're staying at is absolutely breathtaking with spacious rooms and comfortable beds, the food we'll be eating is gourmet Peruvian, plus a Pachamanca lunch (prepared in an earth oven in the community of Patacancha).
