Its end-grain micro-honeycomb structure offers exceptional strength and stiffness. It has a high strength to weight ratio. The Pro Balsa sheets we carry are scored and backed with glass fiber scrim. The grid scoring allows the core to readily conform to the contours of molds and curved surfaces without build-up of internal stresses in the laminate.
