1940s Novelty  Print Day Dress | M-L

1940s vintage approx. size M/L-L (waist is pinned on dress form to show shape) shoulders:  15”bust: 44”waist: 36” hips: 44”bodice length: 17”skirt length: 28” bold red rayon with black swirls and green fawns and leaves. the shirt waist bodice with pleating at the shoulders and waist, the 6-paneled skirt with gathering and draping at the hip pockets. closure: three buttons down the front and metal side zipper. label: none condition: very good/excellent. freshly dry cleaned. a hint of stress at the pleat seams at waist. Some faint dye transfer/travel around the back collar and a few scattered faint marks here and there that didn’t lift with dry cleaning, but also don’t show up hardly at all due to print and drape. Center button has a couple flecks of white paint on it.
