Antique 9kt Gold Art Nouveau Iris Locket with Diamond

antique c. 1910 warm 9 carat gold with a yellow gold wash. Art Nouveau Iris design in high relief and a central mine-cut diamond accent. two interior compartments with original removeable metal frames and celluloid covers.  Paired with a vintage 18" 14kt gold-fill chain with spring ring clasp. locket is unmarked, tests for 9 carat gold. chain marked "1/20 14kt GF" locket is 1" diameter, diamond is approx. .02 carats good condition. the front presents beautifully, the back has a number of little dents, as seen. --------- boxes and photo props shown not included. jewelry is shipped in padded presentation boxes. --------- antique and vintage lockets are sourced from a variety of decades. Most are 1890-1950 and were made in Rhode Island or Massachusetts (where much of the costume jewelry from the early-mid 20th century in the US was made!).
