Antique Art Nouveau Gold Locket

antique 1910s-20s soft yellow gold wash with rose gold border and a unique Art Nouveau design of knots and icicle-like points in relief. opens to two interior compartments for storing photos or small keepsakes. with both original sets of removable metal frames and celluloid covers. paired with a new 17" gold over sterling silver chain with spring ring clasp.  hallmarked for Carter, Qvornstrom & Remington of Attleboro, MA locket is 1 1/8" dia. very good/excellent condition. some wear/patina to the back edges, as seen. --------- boxes and photo props shown not included. jewelry is shipped in padded presentation boxes. --------- antique and vintage lockets are sourced from a variety of decades. Most are 1890-1950 and were made in Rhode Island or Massachusetts (where much of the costume jewelry from the early-mid 20th century in the US was made!).
