Antique Crescent Moon and Star Locket

era: c. 1900 larger sized round gold-fill photo locket with rhinestone crescent moon and star motif, surrounded by a raised beaded border. the interior with two photo compartments and all original removeable frames, and celluloid covers. reproduction chain shown is available as a separate purchase. marked for Whightman & Hough Co. of Providence RI 1 1/4" dia.  very good/excellent condition. firm clasp. some wear to gold finish on the back as seen, a small area of the gold finish around the moon has darkened a bit, did not lift with gentle polishing/cleaning.  prop boxes shown not included. we, mcgee packages all lockets in padded presentation boxes with ribbon, perfect for gifting + safe-keeping. --------- we, mcgee antique and vintage lockets are sourced from a variety of decades.
