era: c. 1900 gold-fill oval locket with classic Victorian rhinestone-studded crescent moon and star motif, with a finely engraved woman in profile; using the star as her eye and the moon as her hair. the interior with two compartments for storing photos or other keepsakes. retains one original set of removeable frame, celluloid guard and paper. rhinestones in the moon have a dark luster, eye rhinestone is a whiter tone. offered with a 16" vintage gold tone chain. bearing hallmark for S.K.
