era: late Victorian c. 1890s approx. modern size: small/medium waist: up to 28", cinch with drawstring to fithips: freelength: 35" lightly structured woven wool in black with white striping. waist is pleated and with a brown cotton yoke with drawstring waist and single button closure. ruffled and velvet-trimmed hem. charming hand-stitched finishing throughout.  label: none present condition: good/very good. structural sound, freshly laundered, and quite wearable. about a dozen scattered small holes or wear spots, none particularly distracting. see images for examples. expected wear to fabric edges/folds especially at the hem. all condition/flaws noted would be expected for age.
