Initial Casting Lesson & Gear Consult

To start off, I have found it extremely beneficial to get together and take a look at what equipment you have and get a sense of what you want to do with it. We will go over and ensure it is set up properly and you have as much information as possible to understand how it can all work together. After that we take a look at current casting skills and ability and will evaluate your skills and identify areas of challenge and areas that are developed. To increase and refine small aspects, usually can make dramatic impacts on the enjoyment of the sport. Another aspect that we will cover is how to go about practicing and skill building and ways to do that by yourself, or on with others. Along the way I will always answer questions and help.  There's no benefit to just listening to someone keep talking about things if you're not ready to advance or not comfortable. Learning should be an enjoyable journey; this isn't a job and there will not be a test, and you will not be judged. This is fun!
