The flavor profile is distinctive and unmistakable. Alongside the immediately recognizable lychee fruit flavor, we tasted pear, white grape, and floral notes. Did You Know?Most Indonesian coffee uses a unique method called "Wet-Hulling" (Giling Basah). Because the air is so humid, farmers remove the bean's protective layer while it’s still wet to speed up drying. This usually creates deep, earthy flavors, but this coffee is part of our Reserve line-up because it adds a modern twist to that tradition. During the fermentation stage, the producers added dried lychee fruit directly into the tanks. This allows the coffee to absorb a vibrant fruit sweetness while still maintaining the heavy, "chocolatey" body that makes Sumatran coffee so beloved.
