This 316 Stainless Mercury Manual Release valve works on most all Mercury Trim Tilt Units but be sure to match up part numbers before ordering.  This valve also uses Viton Seals to avoid tearing when using this relief valve this is another major upgrade.  This was originally made from plastic but after rebuilding thousands of Trim & Tilt Units we had major issues due to this poor design, All the Units we rebuild in-house come with a 2 Year Warranty and the plastic manual release valve was so problematic that we came up with this solution.  A few of the issues with the plastic version of this is they are mold injected and do not hold a tight tolerance we have ours spun from High Quality 316 Stainless on a Million Dollar Automated CNC Machine to ensure dimension and precision is accurate every time you get a part from us. This tolerance issue can cause units to leak down, get stuck, and even snap off from.  This is a emergency function that is critical and should not be overlooke
