Petronilo Rosario founded Prolijo Mezcal in 1974 to share the magic of Artisanal Mezcal with the world. They hand-craft the Mezcal and Pulque using traditional production methods from the late 19th century in Oaxaca, Mexico. Without ever compromising on quality. We have a Mezcal made from the ‘King of Agave’ here. Tobalá variety is small compared to the more common ones usually used for Tequila. It’s scarce, grows at high altitudes, and takes up to 15 years to reach maturity. Hence the revered liquid.
