Smart automation uses temperature and moisture sensors with an optional astronomical timer to activate heating only when needed—maximizing efficiency and reducing energy costs. Fully adjustable set points allow easy customization for local weather and seasonal conditions. A built-in Low Temperature Cutout feature improves energy savings by shutting off the system during extreme cold when melting is ineffective, then automatically restoring operation as temperatures rise. This feature can be disabled for continuous pipe freeze protection.
