His Royal Highness - Re-Blooming Bearded Iris
These towering purple beauties are a must-have! The petals on His Royal Highness re-blooming bearded irises are a mix of purple and violet streaked with white, with gorgeous purple-gold beards. These irises are majestic, and since they're re-blooming, you get to see them twice a year! They'll flower in late spring and then again in early fall. His Royal Highness irises can grow up to 40 inches tall(!!) so they're perfect for borders and as a backdrop. Make sure you plant the rhizomes in well-drained soil, give them lots of sun, and fertilize them after the first set of blooms has faded. Tip: Since irises bloom at different times depending on their size, combine several types together for an even longer blooming period. And, good news: these majesties are deer- and rabbit-resistant!
