This shadow box contains the Farfalla Barocco, made in paper and gold leaf completely by hand. This unique collage has been cut and shaped by hand and reassembled to create visual depth and add authenticity to the butterfly. The handmade frame is made of wood. Our collages have a double reading; they are made to be seen, but only by looking at them closely you can discover the subtle hidden details that speak to the observer and suggest a different interpretation.
