This little sailor carries his ship on his head and dreams of adventurous voyages around the world. We have drawn inspiration from children’s drawings to make this little fellow. First, we have created it in collage using magazine papers and old books. Then we have printed it on paper, cut it, and customized it with vintage buttons, flowers and bows, moving eyes, small eyeglasses, and any other funny element we come across. Finally, we have enameled and assembled it into a unique brooch. The arms and the legs are made separately, before being attached with silver-plated findings, so they can move freely. Please note that due to the bespoke nature of this piece, it will not be identical to the brooch featured in the photograph; however, it will be very similar.
