13 Carat Twisted Bar Link Necklace

A solid thirteen carat yellow gold twisted bar link necklace. If you are looking for a unique, fantastic looking gold chain in a good, long, stackable length, then this example is hard to pass. It was purchased from the original jeweler who hand crafted the piece in 1960's from left over material from her workshop in California. Each link is comprised of a long twisted bar link with two open links either end, with two smaller round links and one larger round center link. There is a section of the chain where the bars are slightly shorter in length. This can either be worn at the front or the back for comfort. . The necklace measures a very generous thirty six inches long. Each link is approximately 2 inches in length. They vary slightly due to the fact each link is hand made. This is also perfect for stacking. Being a long necklace it is quite heavy, weighing nearly 65 grams, and is 2.74mm thick. There are no markings that can be found.
