Yellow Gold Angular Anchor Link Chain

A solid fourteen carat yellow gold chain, or necklace.  This is a very unusual and beautiful quality angular anchor link chain.  The necklace features a very unusual clasp.  The clasp has a beautiful almost hook on one side that has a sprung element, on the opposite side is a catch that is shaped to press down into the sprung part and then pass into it.  It may sound complicated, but it isn't, and it is beautifully engineered.   It even features its patent number stamped into the top of it!    This is a very high quality and early chain.  It has a great weight to it, weighing close to fourteen and a half grams.  It is nineteen inches in length, so a very comfortable size.  Made in America, circa 1930's.
