Fourneau Fire Pit Plancha

Turn your Fourneau 30" Fire Pit into a wood-fired flat-top grill. With a wood fire below the plancha griddle surface, you'll easily generate cooking surface for searing at 700ºF and higher. The outer perimeter of the plancha maintains a lower temperature which allows chefs to cook with both high temperature and more moderate temperatures at the same time. Our plancha is heavy 3/16" plate steel cut and formed to shape. It is reinforced on the bottom by a robust ring of steel to resist twisting from hight heat. The reinforcing ring registers the plancha on an included 16" fire stand. Not only does the 1/8" thick rolled and welded fire stand support the plancha, it also serves as a convenient structure to support your firewood as you build your fire. You'll be surprised at how little wood you need to cook a meal on the plancha.
