Arch Sun Burst

After a few years of traveling to this location I was finally able to get the shot I wanted. Getting to the site early is key to establishing the composition of the shot. Once the first light started to appear I began to shoot. I was only able to capture a hand full of shots and the wind started to blow creating a huge dust storm which that obstructed the view through the arch. I frantically packed my gear to avoid damage to my new fancy camera. After returning to my vehicle, I inspected the camera for sand and looked at the images I had taken. I felt a sense of completion looking though my camera; I was satisfied with the results.
