"1,000 Year Flood" is part of a series called "The Chaos of Looking" This is a limited edition print created in response to the effects of Helene in Western North Carolina on September 24-27, 2024. The series combines images created with a scanner of storm damaged trees and plants, digitally altered images, and screen printed blind contour drawings. The layering of images is a visual documentation and interpretation of the after effects of the storm, as well as a response to my feelings of nervousness and uncertainty. 12x16, unframed on archival paper
