It also is a perfect EDC knife for carrying on your hip for work and around the farm. This is a heavy duty knife that can be depended on to work when you need it regardless of the task at had.  Finger grooves in the handle make for a very comfortable grip. Designed to be held high up on the blade for more control when cutting. The blade is 3 1/4" long x 1 5/8" deep x 3/16" thick with file work jimping to aid in keeping the thumb from slipping during heavy cutting. Approximately 6 15/16" overall length.   The 3 5/8" long handle in gunstock tiger maple has brass pins and brass lanyard hole with leather lanyard.   The blade is acid etched to help prevent rusting and corrosion.
