  ******* Available to purchase now, will ship within 4 business days*******  ****Free Shipping ****   This is a heavy blade Alaskan cleaver designed for hunters and woodsman that need this style of knife for chopping through bone and overall camp, kitchen and bushcraft use.   Its 3/16" thick blade is tough enough for battoning kindling as well as processing game when a cleaver is needed for breaking joints. The curved shape of the blade makes for a very capable skinning knife as well. The heavy swedge on the end of the blade makes for a fine point for detailed cutting. The dark aged walnut handle has heavy duty fasteners as well as a lanyard hole with leather lanyard.Overall length is 9 1/4" with a 4 5/8" long x 1 3/4" deep x 3/16" thick blade, with dark acid etched finish. Hand forged as always in my Vermont blacksmith shop. Made from high carbon 5160 steel. This steel in incredibly tough and takes and holds an outstanding edge.   The sheath is made from 9 oz leather that is
