The assemblages, as I mentioned before, combine ordinary objects in new ways recycling and transforming the energy within them into works of art. Many of the objects have obvious history and provoke stories and memories of life’s important moments. Is this exchange some form of energy? Can the scientists here expound on this?The paintings utilize atmospheric depth to convey a sense of deep space. The arcs & rays symbolize paths of energy or orbits that move slowly through the eons. They are inspired by maps, depictions of space and the lovely depth one can achieve with many layers of wax. Can the scientists here can expound on this?I chose pieces from these two bodies of work for this show
