Working with the classic wrought iron ice cream chair, Camella creates colorful patterns representing the interconnectedness of the One Love Community Fridge initiative. The chair’s name is a homage to the Brooklyn nonprofit. Reinterpreting the streetwear staple, she wraps and weaves shoelaces as if painting with fabric. By recycling scrap materials and upcycling a vintage chair, Camella transforms a flea market find into a functional objet d’art.
