Moonstone Cabochon in Gold Bezel Necklace

A glossy moonstone glows in its open-back bezel of 14k yellow gold. The mystical gem is cut en cabochon, catching the light like a scrying glass. Its gold bezel is slightly distressed, an attractive contrast to the misty moonstone. This pendant is a conversion jewel, re-purposed from an Edwardian stick pin into a pendant. It hangs stationary on a modern 14k gold rope chain. Circa 1900. The details: The chain is 18.5" long, and the pendant measures 11mm in diameter. In Very Good Antique Condition.
