Cutting Board Wax

The wax adds a protective layer to the wood and prevents them from getting dried out. It's a good idea to wax your wooden cutting boards about once a year. Simply scoop out some of the wax with your fingers (could use a rubber glove), rub a generous layer all across your board, let sit for several hours (overnight would be great), and then rub off the excess with a clean cloth.
