IVSOM Caixa, 4 strings, aluminum shell, 12" x 7.5"

Aluminum 4 string caixas are very popular in the U.S. The drum is nice a light with a dry but buzzy caixa sound. A classy drum. It doesn’t hurt that the instrument itself is beautiful. Shiny aluminum body with the brassy color hardware and everyone knows it’s an IVSOM. You will be happy you have the lighter weight aluminum body caixa on the last ½ mile of the parade and the last ½ hour of rehearsal. Straps Most commonly, this drum is held on by a shoulder strap that runs over your shoulder. The caixa hangs at an angle and you hold the stick in “traditional grip”. The drum is deep enough to not flop forward on your body like some of the drums that are manufactured by factories in Asia. IVSOM knows what they are doing. Need a strap?
