Mark’s Mug breakfast blue and black

This mug was fired on site in the gas kiln at Goshen’s historic Old Bag Factory. We begin the firing in the evening and leave it to warm up overnight.  In the morning, we raise the temperature to 2100 F, then perform a series of intentional temperature holds and decrease throughout the day to affect the color quality of the pieces within. It stands 4.75” tall and 2.5” across the rim, with a 3.5” base.  It holds 16 ounces. All Goertzen pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe.
