Beautiful antique edition of Little Women by Louisa May Alcott.  Illustrated by Jessie Wilcox Smith, who also illustrated The Princess and the Goblin by George Macdonald and A Child's Garden of Verses by Robert Louis Stevenson, among other beloved classics.  Contains several color plates of various scenes from the book throughout. Condition: Good.  Green gilt pictorial cloth with color paste-down on front cover.  Bright, clean boards.  Clean interior aside from occasional foxing throughout.  Webbing exposed at both hinges, and rear endpaper is damaged, but text block is sound. Published in 1919 by Little, Brown and Company.
