MacDonald, George: Dealings with the Fairies (George Routledge, circa 1870)

One of J.R.R. Tolkien's favorite authors.  Scarce early edition containing The Light Princess, The Giant's Heart, The Golden Key, Cross Purposes, and The Shadows.  Blue decorative cloth.  Wear to boards and minor fading to spine.  Lovely brown floral endpapers.  Occasional foxing and soiling throughout, with the name of a previous owner penciled in at the front of the book and a blue sticker on the rear flyleaf.  Binding is sound, but front hinge is starting to loosen and webbing is exposed in a couple of places.
